Tongan soldiers invaded and destroyed the man made island called the
“Republic of Minerva” located in the Minerva Reefs south of Fiji.
The “Republic of Minerva” was created by a handful of wealthy
U.S. citizens in another nations territory. The “Republic of
Minerva” even minted their own coins.
