Sent more troops into Somalia to replace the Ethiopian forces who were on their way out. Coxed to replace the Ethiopians by “western” nations. Entered Somalia under the banner of the African Union to suppress Al Shabab guerrilla forces.

Large US embassy in Kampala, Uganda. Hot bed for CIA and FBI activity in the region.
